    • 1. Air and electric connectors on the truck and trailer are seated and sealed, not damaged and locked in place
    • 2. Air hoses and electric lines are not cut, cracked, chafed, spliced, taped or worn, no air leaks
    • Not tangled, crimped or pinched, or dragging against the truck or ground

    Fifth Wheel Skid Plate

    • 1. Fifth wheel skid plate: securely mounted to the vehicle by the fifth wheel platform (2), not cracked or broken, no excessive wear

    Kingpin, Apron and Gap

    • Inspect that the trailer is laying flat on the fifth wheel skid plate, no space between the apron and fifth wheel
