    Critical Thinking Questions

    1. John Tukey argued that statisticians spent too much time on confirmatory analysis and not enough on exploration. Is this still true today with modern tools (Python, Tableau)? Has the ease of creating visualizations changed how much time analysts spend on EDA?

    2. You build a correlation heatmap for 20 variables and find that Variables A and B have r = 0.95. Should you immediately drop one? What additional investigation should you do before deciding?

    3. An analyst runs df.describe() in pandas and sees mean = 50, median = 35, max = 500 for a "customer age" column. What does this tell you about the distribution? What specific EDA steps would you take next?
