    Critical Thinking Questions

    1. Your company uses Excel for all reporting. You propose introducing Tableau or Power BI. The CFO asks: "Why can't we just keep using Excel?" Make the case for a dedicated BI tool while acknowledging Excel's legitimate strengths. When should Excel remain the tool of choice?

    2. A data science team uses only Python (Matplotlib/Seaborn) for all visualizations, including executive presentations. A colleague suggests adopting Tableau for stakeholder-facing work. Debate both sides: should the team standardize on one tool or use different tools for different audiences?

    3. Looker Studio is free while Tableau costs thousands per year. Under what circumstances is the paid tool worth the investment? What specific capabilities justify the cost difference?
