Chapter 4 – Transition to Chapter 5
You’ve done more than just build a plan. You’ve built a safety net.
Chapter 4 challenged you to think like a strategist, not just a scheduler. You anticipated uncertainty, implemented proactive controls, and practiced the mindset of a resilient project leader. Now, you’ll take that foresight and apply it to the critical execution phase of the C-Bay project.
What Comes Next: Chapter 5 – Executing and Monitoring the Project
In Chapter 5, your role shifts once again—from architect to operator.
This milestone will guide you through leading a simulated project rollout. You’ll monitor progress, respond to real-time challenges, and practice interpreting data as a project leader.
You’ll also:
- Track deliverable completion across project phases
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to evaluate cost and schedule performance
- Monitor quality, costs, and team bandwidth
- Simulate mid-project status reports and stakeholder briefings
While risk and control planning prepared you to defend the project, execution will test your ability to lead it forward. This chapter asks: can you deliver while adapting in motion?
What You’ll Produce
- Execution dashboards
- Project status reports with performance indicators
- Stakeholder briefing summaries
- Optional: peer decision logs, reflection notes, and live simulation recaps
You’ve planned with precision. Now it’s time to lead with confidence.
Welcome to Chapter 5: Executing and Monitoring the Project.
