Now we are ready to take a look at the steps both before as well as during a typical trial process. While most individuals are somewhat familiar with the trial steps, due in large part to the number of legal shows available on television, often very little is known about the steps that take place before the trial. An understanding of these pretrial steps is very important since the majority of cases are settled during these steps instead of going to a full formal trial.
