    1. Why must liquid fuels be converted into vapor before they can burn, and how do boiling point and vapor production influence this process?
    2. What is the difference between specific gravity and vapor density, and how can specific gravity affect firefighting operations involving fuel spills on water?
    3. Compare and contrast flash point, fire point, and autoignition temperature. Why are these temperatures important when assessing fire hazards?
    4. What is latent heat of vaporization, and why does it take significantly more energy to convert a liquid into a gas than it does to heat the liquid to its boiling point?
    5. Describe how aerosols and wicking can increase the likelihood of ignition and fire spread. Provide an example of each.
    6. What are frothing, slopover, and boilover, and why do these phenomena make liquid fuel tank fires especially dangerous for firefighters?
