    This workbook resource was made possible as a direct result of a grant funded through the ASCCC Open Educational Resource Initiative (OERI). It accompanies the textbook titled, “Workplace Safety for US Workers-A Practical Guide for Understanding Safety and Health Programs for Skilled Workers” and is designed to be an interactive and engaging tool for impressing on the user the intent and purpose of workplace safety standards. It was crafted and designed using academic methods and instructional techniques prescribed by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) and where and when appropriate to be equity minded and culturally responsive.

    The author would like to thank Allison Murray, LBCC OER Liaison for direction and support in submitting the 3rd round ASCCC OERI Grant Proposal, Suzanne Engelhardt, LBCC Professor Electrical Technology for supporting this effort as the lead college, and Crystal Nasio Dean of Instruction, Workforce & Economic Development Barstow College for offering content support for the grant proposal.
