Dr. Abhijeet Shirsat is an Assistant Professor in Hospitality and Tourism in the Department of Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration at California State University, Sacramento Campus. He has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He is passionate about learning and education in its different forms, and his teaching philosophy grew out of his wide range of experience in the industry. His research interests relate to human behavioral topics in hospitality, tourism, events, and social media. He intends to build upon the literature that identifies the problems and challenges of the hospitality and tourism industry.
