Microsoft Word allows the user to manipulate text by “left-clicking” on the insertion point and continuing to hold the left click and moving the mouse around the document to the selected text. When text is highlighted, you can perform multiple actions with the selected text using the ribbon & minitoolbar by “right-clicking” on the selected text. When text is selected, a blue highlight will be displayed over the text.
