    Chapter Learning Outcome
    •  Develop problem-solving and inquiry learning using digital media and educational technology.

    In this chapter, you will explore how educators and learners can work to connect the potential opportunities of our rapidly advancing software and apps and our teaching and learning practices. We dig deeper into apps and software specifically tailored for specific topics and subjects, working to help ensure that your digital tools align with your curriculum needs. It is not, however, just about finding the right tools; it's about understanding their pedagogical value. Not all digital tools are created equal, and in this chapter, we will research and use some evaluation tools to help you determine which apps and software uphold effective teaching methodologies and best practices.

    As part of our app exploration, we will also look at graphic authoring and editing software, which can help you enhance your lessons with visuals. By the end of this chapter, you'll be well-versed in making informed choices about integrating technology into your teaching and learning practices, helping to ensure a dynamic and engaging learning experience for your students.
