    Understand the Three Voices

    Goals
    • Critically consider the utility and feasibility of evaluating teaching via students, peers, and self-reflection.
    • Prepare for (1) self-assessment of teaching evaluation practices (October & November meetings) and (2) one-on-one meetings with CAT members (November)

    DeLTA draws upon the three-voice framework for teaching evaluation (https://teval.net/; National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine 2020). This framework points out that effective teaching evaluation depends upon input from students, peers, and the instructor. Thus, the second step is for LAT members to understand the three-voice framework conceptually and to see the opportunities and challenges with gathering feedback on teaching from each voice.
