If you do well in this unit, you should be able to:
- Distinguish between Operating Systems software and Application Systems software.
- Describe commonly used operating systems.
- Identify the primary functions of an Operating System.
- Describe the “boot” process.
- Identify Desktop and Windows features.
- Use Utility programs.
- Discuss the pros and cons of the three major operating systems.
