Introduction
Have you explored the vast number of career opportunities that are opening up before you? Have you identified a few careers that interest you? Have you set a career goal? And, have you figured out what education you need to get there? No? then you’ve come to the right place.
In this module, you will begin by assessing your own competencies, interests, and life purpose. You will also explore and evaluate your employability skills, including competencies identified by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Using the insights you gain by doing these, you will learn about career goals, set SMART goals for yourself, and be guided through an activity to design an academic journey that will lead you toward your chosen career.
